...During my senior year of college I volunteered working in the backroom of the Ellensburg Daily Record. I also volunteered teaching English as a second language to Vietnamese families. I received a B.A.Ed. degree from Central and was certified to teach K-12.

...In college, I was a TA and proofed students' papers and helped them learn to self-proof their own work. Math is one of my best subjects. I view it as a puzzle to be mastered, and I love seeing others master math's problems.
