...I've always believed that one of the best ways to build writing skills is to read voraciously, learning the styles of great authors. Literature is foundational to all facets of English. I have a degree in English Creative Writing and a minor in Professional writing, and I've been tutoring for grammar and editing for a while now.

...When there is more than one sound such as with vowels we distinguish them. I also use the rules of long vowel and silent e. Also other rules for phonics.

...Geometry concepts really click for me, I think because I am definitely a visual learner. Being able to see the problem spatially really helps for me. I think it can be more challenging for people who learn or think about things in different ways, which is why I like to approach problems from a variety of angles in order to make sure everybody involved feels confident with the material.
