By the way, if you are interested in Japanese culture as well, you might find it interesting that I have also taught Japanese flower arrangement, called "ikebana", and the Japanese harp, called "koto". I have taught Japanesse at high schools and colleges in Orange county and ESL at adult schools in Los Angeles for over 15 years. I retired last year, but I missed teaching. I enjoyed teaching very much, not because I am teaching what I know, but I have shared my knowledge on subject matters with my students.

I just graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Japanese, and I have worked with a friend's son on his elementary school homework.
