...My hope as a tutor is to create a warm learning environment that is efficient and effective. Plus, my main goal is to individualize instruction to facilitate learning toward helping students reach their goals and instill confidence. ...I now have just two semesters left to complete the last of my education certification requirements. I also completed my Associate's degree with an emphasis in English during high school through the Running Start program. I have assisted students of my own age group and younger with writing assignments to teach unique ways of approaching grammar and writing styles.

...Sign language is good language to know because you don't know when you will meet some who is deaf. I have taken sign language levels 1-6. I have gone to light house church to talk to deaf people who put on a night for them and other students who are taking sign language classes.

...I also completed the Summer Intensive Program at Rocky Mountain School of Photography.I learned sign language in high school and continued at that time interpreting for deaf students in other classes. I was also very active in our high school Theater for the Deaf, performing often. My major at Augustana College was Deaf Education.
