...In learning Japanese, even more so than most other languages, understanding the culture and relationships between people is extremely important to speak it correctly. Having grown up in Japan, I bring that perspective to my teaching. With strong communication skills, I am confident I would be valuable to the students.

I am 32 years old and have recently moved back to the US after living in Japan for 4 years. I graduated from language school in Tokyo and I am sure I am qualified to tutor any students that are studying in the US as well as help prepare someone for a move to Japan. I am also married to a Japanese woman so any questions I could not answer could easily be pursued.

...I prepared loan applications (ringi) in Japanese as well as English. I had Japanese businesses as clients and interacted with them in Japanese. I also did the translation of loan applications from Japanese to English and English to Japanese in order to comply with the bank regulations in US and Japan.
