...I am studying for my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies through The University of Houston Downtown. Finding the best way to learn another language is immersion, I spent 30 hours a week with a deaf person for 6 months in order to become proficient in American Sign Language. This was on top of taking courses in college and the fact that my wife is an interpreter for the deaf.
