...My training at UTD taught me to approach drawing as a means to express a concept. For those with foundational skills in drawing introducing concept into a work of art takes it to the next level. I like to teach both children and adults, but my favorite age group is teenagers who are just discovering their talent and inner drive to create art.

...I will not simply give the student answers to their homework questions. I like to teach by giving the student multiple examples and then have them apply what they have learned when they do their homework. Then I go over their homework with them and ask them how they came up with those answers so that I know that they are going through the correct thought process.
