...After finishing high school, I attended the University of Alabama with several scholastic scholarships to continue my studies in Spanish. There, I dedicated myself to courses in literature, Spanish phonology and phonetics, and anthropological linguistics. In 2003, I was a part of a new university program of involvement in the Hispanic community.

...My teaching philosophy in writing and reading is to provide a step by step approach for students to acquire the skills. I like providing students with guiding questions of what to think for the writing and assistance in proofreading. They are encouraged to produce drafts of work, revise them and come up with a final product.
