...I am particularly interested and well versed in American's place in world history and how the United States has interacted with other countries over the years. A third generation Mexican American, I started learning Spanish early on from my grandfather. I received an Associate's Degree in Spanish and continued studying at the BA level.

I have experience with nearly all musical genres and after a student has acquired basic skills I like to let him or her explore genres he or she is interested in. I have never forced a student to play a piece he or she hates.
