I have been tutoring unofficially since third grade. Now nearing thirty, I can say with confidence that it is the one job in which I am most successful and most myself. Tutoring is an act of observation.

...I am a great writer and editor, which means I insist on quality work,and I know what teachers look for in writing assignments. I can also help someone learn to read more quickly, and with more comprehension - a valuable skill for all of those standardized tests with reading comprehension sections. I teach Italian and Spanish too - all levels welcome.

...Being an underprivileged individual, I understand the importance of getting an education. I believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to finish high school, go to college, and excel to the highest degree possible. This is why I want to tutor students so that they can get the best education they can and pursue anything they want in life, just like I have.

...I am a 2012 Teach for America Corps member completing a Multiple Subjects Credentialing program, for which I successfully passed tests like CBEST, CSET and TFE. I have classroom experience and as well, working as a Multiple Subject teacher for schools in Los Angeles and Oakland.
