Hi, my name is Laura and I teach Basic Skills Math and Language Arts in a K-4 school in South Jersey. While I love teaching both subjects, my heart is in mathematics. It hurts me when I hear children say "I hate math" or "I can't do math." I firmly believe that all students can understand math if given the proper hands on tools to make math meaningful to them.
