...I worked as an after school caregiver at a facility that was designated for children with learning and social challenges. During my employment, I encouraged the children to get started on their homework while they waited. As dyslexia runs in my family, and I was lucky enough to inherit the gene I am very empathetic to the plight of the challenges of dyslexia.

I have an Associate's Degree in Sign Language Interpretation and an EIPA (Educational Interpreters Performance Assessment) score of 3.7. For seven years I worked as an interpreter for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing in a public school setting.
