...Some had only taken a few months of English and we had to be very inventive to understand simple concepts. Others students had taken English their whole lives and wanted to learn slang and polish their American accents. ...It's much harder to make things simple. There is one trick to making any subject understandable... SIMPLIFICATION! Making things simple and relatable is what makes it easy to remember, not just for the upcoming test or project, but for long-term retention.
