...I would also sometimes help her prepare and present lessons. I worked as a kindergarten teacher's assistant for two years while I was in college. I helped the students work on phonics every day I was there (which was 3 days a week). We did group work on recognizing and making sounds, as well as individual work on worksheets, and we would play phonics games.
