...I've had great luck with young kids and have been a Montessori teacher for 4 years. As a diagnostic tester at Sylvan Learning Center, I administered pre-school reading and phonic tests. I am familiar with phonics and can distinguish age-appropriate subtle phonic differences and have worked with many pre-schoolers.

...When tutoring, I tend to put down the books, and try to discover the student's best learning style. I, myself, am not one to be able to pay attention to someone droning on and on. I like to have discussions, ask questions and explore different modes of leanings.

...Secondly, I started volunteering at Deaf school for couple of months then I got a job as Teacher Assistant with students in the fourth grade. I worked there for two years. Therefore, I return to my former job as paraeducator substitute for k-6th.
