...Teaching writing skills has been one of my favorite tasks as an English teacher. Students often have great ideas, but do not know how to formulate them in a structured way. Creating a solid thesis statement, topic sentences, supporting sentences and a conclusion are all necessary in a well constructed essay.

...I find I have a very simple approach as to how I teach which really helps students grasp more complicated subjects and topics. School never came easy to me, so I would have to break things down into steps and think of problems more simplistically in order for me to understand them. I think that's how many other kids are as well, which is why I think I'm so successful with the kids I tutor.
