I am working on my PhD in Classics from the University of Pittsburgh, while living in the Bay Area. I have received my Master's in Classics from UPitt and graduated cum laude from Pomona College with a double major in Classics and Geology. I have taught college-level Latin, semesters 1-3 as a TA and TF in Pittsburgh, as well as courses in classical mythology and Roman civilization.

...As a sideline to my regular duties as a VP of Planning, I was the regular speech writer for the President of ITT and several other company executives. I've studied speeches and techniques of the great speakers of the last two millenia, from Demosthenes and Cicero, Plato (Socrates)and Miletus to Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and up to John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King.

...I have a M.A. in Classical Philology (Ancient Greek and Latin languages) from the University of Illinois and have completed most of the coursework in the classics Ph.D. program.
