...It is not enough to just memorize the rules of grammar or mathematics, but to understand them so that they can be used more effectively and more creatively. I believe in working with each student in a customized way that fits their individual needs and builds their confidence. It is important to emphasize the progress a student makes, in addition to what they still need to work on.

...In math and physics, I have tutored mainly high school and college students. In Spanish, I have tutored people of all ages, from middle school to adults. I have also worked for test preparation companies teaching SSAT and SAT preparation and know lots of 'tricks' to improve scores.This is one of the subjects I have the most experience tutoring.
