Graciela G. ...By the last level of the Barton System students will read at 9th grade reading level, which is considered adult reading level. Although the Orton-Gillingham method was developed for dyslexic students, it can benefit all students reading or spelling below grade level. Non-dyslexics would simply complete the program much faster.
