Amending the Privacy Policy
The company has the right whatsoever, to change or modify its privacy policies that includes, sharing the customers nonpublic information to the non associated third parties. However the company sends a prior notice of any such amendment, and hence gives the customer a chance to opt out if he doesn?t want to share his personal information. The privacy notice is located on the farmers.com, plus some other information is also available. The customer should read this notice very carefully.
This notice is mailed to the customer at the residential address provided on the policy, whose name the policy beholds. The notice is mailed only to the named policyholder, thought there may be more than one policyholder on the policy. Depending on the number of policies with the company, those many notices are issued by the company.
Notices are expected from the company associates and the nonaffiliated third parties too, however one must read it carefully to know ones rights with the associates privacy policies too.
