From the 1st of May to the 31st of October there is an entrance fee of $4 for vehicles that have a tag of Delaware and for those vehicles which are from outside the state the parking charge is $8.
The cost of spending a night in a campground is comparatively less than motel rooms. Usually the parks are run by park rangers who provide security at these campgrounds. The campgrounds have a charcoal grill, fire pit and picnic table. Areas for setting up tents and parking cars are available in these campgrounds. There are showers, bathrooms, trash containers and places for washing dishes in buildings within these campgrounds.
If one does not have a camping gear, it can be bought for a very low price. If there are four members in a family, a tent that can accommodate 6 persons should be bought as it will provide more space. Sleeping bags that can be used throughout the year should be bought as it will save cost. In case of cold weather sleeping pads are required so that it protect you from cold. Though a charcoal grill is present in the campgrounds for cooking a two burner stove is recommended as the chances of utensils getting black is high if food is cooked in charcoal grill.
Other items required for camping can be found in the grocery store or at home like cups, glasses, pots, pillows, food and extra batteries. A trap can be used for placing it under the tent so that water does not seep and to protect the tent from wear and tear. The chances of attracting small bugs are high if a lantern is used. So instead of a lantern batteries should be used. These items can be bought online, however they cost more as compared to a buy from the local store.
