Mission Statement The rationale of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce shall be to encourage the civic, commercial, educational, cultural, and industrial interests of the Northeast Dallas Area so that its neighborhoods, businesses, and citizens shall flourish.

History The East Dallas Chamber of Commerce was integrated in 1945 to serve the local business organization in the East Dallas area. The Dallas Northeast Chamber of Commerce came into constituting January 1, 1997, with the integration of the East Dallas Chamber and the Lakewood Chamber. By arranging so, the new chamber had an altered membership and more businesses affected with a total community development.

To carry through this mission, the Governmental Affairs Committee monitors business legislation and advocates positions to the Chamber's Board of Directors. Membership/Retention Committee The Membership Committee is the sprightliness blood of the Chamber. The elementary mission of this committee is to enlistee new Chamber members and

retains Chamber members. This responsibleness encompasses many activities. The Membership Committee brings about Membership Drives.
