I think there is no need of describing the auto glass in detail. Auto glass essentially is the glass that is used in the automobiles like cars, jeeps, trucks, and other such vehicles. When we talk about the auto glass, many questions start coming into our minds.

Whether the glass would break or not would depend upon- the size and weight of the object and the velocity with which it hits the glass.
Many times, while playing, children throw stone etc on the automobiles etc. This is also one of the major reasons of the breaking of the auto glass. If the auto glass is not like the normal glass, then its cost is also not like the normal one. These are quite expensive and one should take all the care that it is not broken. Our next part of discussion is about the care of the auto glass. Since it is one of the most important parts of the automobile, one should take enough care of it. The first point to be made here is that it should be saved from all types of scratches. The reason is that these scratches are not visible in day, but at night, when the light of another vehicle falls on it, these becomes very prominent and becomes obstacles for the driver. It results in many accidents every year. Thus, the glass especially the front glass of the automobile should be washed with water at regular intervals. One reason that is responsible for the auto glass becoming damaged or scratched is the wipers of the front glass. Many times the wipers on the auto glass do not move smoothly and the result is that many scratches appeared on it in a crescent shape, upside down. Since they are at the important part of the auto glass, they become the reason for many accidents at night. There are many cleansers available in the market for the auto glasses. A person should use these very regularly. It has been seen many times that the people get their auto glasses dark by the application of films. As far as using this film in the window glasses is concerned, it is ok. But if it is used in the rear glass or in the upper and the lower portion of the front glass, it becomes dangerous. When a person is driving in a foggy weather, it really becomes very difficult for the driver to drive. In that situation, there is regular need of wiping the glasses with a piece of cloth etc; otherwise it may result in an accident. It is not that only the front glass of the automobile is important from the drivers point of view. The side glasses of the windows are also equally important. In many cases, it has been observed that these glasses become almost opaque because of the friction with the window frame in which they are embedded. This is a matter of great concern. Every care should be taken that these glasses remain clear, as the driver has to peep through it many times especially at turns. Understanding the importance of the auto glass, it is to be advised here that a person should try to buy the auto glass of best quality at the time of replacement of an old auto glass.
