Boulder city is located in the state of Colorado in United States and lies in the Boulder County. This is a home rule municipality and in terms of population, Boulder occupies sixth place. History

So far the history of the city is concerned, it was a part of Nebraska Territory until 1871, when it became an integral part of the state of Colorado. In the year 1876, Colorado was declared an a state of U.S and in the same year, University of Boulder was started.
