Chicago is the great city in the America. According to Sarah Bernhard it is called “the pulse of America”. It is founded in 1800s and became the main barrier between the established east coast cities and wide-open Wild West frontier. Its area is from 1,000 feet above the John Hancock Observatory or the Sears Tower Sky deck. The important attraction is Navy Pier where we can experience the Amazing Chicago Funhouse Maze, where we can have a journey of landmarks and history. At Navy Pier, Time Escape is a 3-D motion simulation allowing us to know present and future history. There are many significant landmarks, which give interesting information about its future.
Navy Pier Flowers and Garden Show: It is located very close to Festival Hall. Mystic Blue is the correct compliment for this flower and garden show. There is floral demonstration by Premier Yachts’ Resident Floral Designer where he highlighted trends in floral design. We can enjoy there the bright, modern, colorful interiors, great service, and large picture with skyline views from every table. Soldier Field and Adler Planetarium are the two excellent museums over there. Shed Aquarium is located at museum campus. It is the world’s largest indoor aquarium.It has more than 8,000aquatic animals with 700 species from all over world. Lincoln Park Zoo is on the north side of city.It is free and it will open every day of the year. It is the oldest as well as one of the modern zoos in the country. Brookfield Zoo is located in Brookfield situated in 216 acres consisting of 2,000 animals.
Amazing Chicago Funhouse Maze: It is located on Navy Pier, the first full-sensory maze experience. The 15-minute walk between attractive amazes and series of mirror mazes and tunnel sets in a twisted Landscape. Special effects, which are dazzling, bring the sights and sounds of the city to life. We can see subway tunnels, streets and skyscrapers that are very effective.
Millennium Park: It is located on Michigan Avenue, which is between Randolph and Monroe Streets. The area of this park is 24.5-acre. Here we can see world-class art, music, architecture and landscape design.Ice skating is also present at al fresco dining. The Grant Park Orchestra presents free classical music. The important feature of the park is dazzling Jay Ritzier Pavilion which is the most exciting outdoor venue designed by the worlds greatest living architect, Frank Gerry.
Buckingham Fountain: It is located in Grant Park, which are the most popular Chicago Attractions of the city. It is one of the biggest fountains in the world. The four horses, which are present on four sides of the fountain, represents the four states touching the Lake Michigan. The four states are Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Every year the fountain runs from April 1 to November 1 and the timings are 10:00am to 11:00pm.The central jet of the fountain shoots up to the 150 feet into the air. The lights and music will be there for the hourly major water display at the dusk time. The water capacity is 1.5 million gallons and it contains 820 lights.
Sears Tower Skydeck:It consists of 103 floors. The view from the top of the tower is very exciting. From the top we can see up to 40-50 miles of the city. The elevators are kept with 50-inch flat screen monitors which make us feel as if we are blasting from sears tower into the space. The skydeck contains interactive, museum-quality Attractions which shows Chicago’s history and historic characters. The kid-level display Knee-High Chicago is present around the Skydeck. It is also having high- tech, high-powered telescopes to have a close look of the city which is very fascinating.
Amoco Building: Formerly it is called as Standard Oil Building. It is second tallest building after the Sears tower which can be visible from a long distance.
Kiddieland: It is founded in 1929 and it is oldest amusement park. It is having 30 rides and Chicago Attractions. There are many rides here such as “German Carousel”, two “Miniature Steam Locomotives”, the “little Auto Ride”, the “Roto Whip”, the “ferris Wheel”, the “Merry-Go-Round”, the “The Little Dipper”, the “Polyp”, the “The Mushroom Ride”, are the important and enthusiastic rides in this park. It is grown and developed as “Fun for the Entire Family”.
Popular Creek Golf and Country Club: This is located in Hoffman Estates. It provides golfers an 18-hole Championship Golf Course which challenges even the perfect professionals. The “Business or Group Golf Outings”, “Party or Wedding Receptions” are also present in their full-service reception rooms.

Chicago Blues Festival: From over 20 years this festival is an annual tradition in the city which is held at Grant Park in mid-June. In this festival we can see a variety of local and national talents like Chicago blues, swing, boogie woogie and delta blues. This is a free festival which attracts nearly million people every year.
Magnificent Mail: This Mile is from the Chicago River to Oak Street.This is the stretch along Michigan Avenue. This is 3.1 million square feet long of retail space. This stretch consists of 460 stores, 275 restaurants, 51 hotels, 2 unique museums. The sightseeing will be very exciting and entertainment Attractions are there. Every year nearly 22 million visitors will visit that place. Recently additional trees and flower-filled medians are added to this Magnificent Mile. This Mile includes some of the top retail establishments like department stores like Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Marshall Field’s and Lord& Taylor and boutiques. The holiday season will be decorated very specially with the lighted streets, retailer decorated windows and horse-drawn carriages along the streets. There are many other Chicago Attractions in the city. They are Chicago Cultural Center, ESPN Zone, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, Harold Washington Library Center, Lambs Farm, Medieval Times Dinner& Tournament, Venetian Night, Union Station, etc. Some more important zoos are Cosley Zoo, Wildlife Prairie State Park, Glenn Oak Zoo and Serpent Safari. There are very good hotels in the city where we can have good food along with entertainment.Some hotels are Congress Plaza Hotel, The Seneca Hotel and Suites, Chicago Hotels. The hotels which I mentioned above are very famous where generally nation’s Presidents, foreign dignitaries, opera performers, stage and movie celebrities, business travelers, etc visit frequently.
Conclusion: Chicago represents the images of gray skyscraper canyons through the bitter wind blowing from Lake Michigan. There is an abundance of music, art architecture, food, friendliness here.
