Is it getting tough to fulfill all your needs within the allowance your dad gives? The pocket money you get from your parents is never enough? And asking your parents to increase your allowance is like climbing mountain Everest with your feet tied?
And you can't blame them, cause cost of living is ever on the increase and when parents expenditure increases they have to cut down on the pocket money of their children. So what's the solution? Do not worry- if you are willing to do small & interesting jobs in your free time, you can earn money. There are things how kid can make money you can do which will give you fun as well as money. No need to plead with your parents for money anymore. Instead, ask them permission to do a part time job. If you convince them that your studies wont get effected they will only be happy to allow you. 1. Taking out dogs for a walk- There may be people who are too busy to take their dogs out for walks in the morning, so you can offer them to take their dogs for walks, it may please them. But yes, you have to check out if the dog you intend to walk is friendly enough and whether you can control it, or else you will land in trouble.
2. Taking Tiffin boxes- to organizations for office going people & school kids You can carry Tiffin boxes to people who have to leave their houses early morning when food is not ready, which will help them, as well as to school kids who has to go to early morning for tuitions and then attend schools etc. This can be easily done using your cycle & also walking if it is at walking distance.
2) Feeding the cattle- If you are staying in a place where cattle are grown, you can help the owner by feeding the cattle with cattle food & water etc. it takes little time & you can do it two or three times a day which can fetch how kid can make money.
4) Car washing- This is very easy, you just got to have a clean cloth & brush, if you find any car dirty in nearby houses or some big car parking offer your services, people wont mind accepting it as they may be indulged in so many other things that they dont have time to clean their cars, so will be happy if you do it, so with no expenses you can earn something.
5) Watering plants: Houses with gardens & all working members may not be able to attend to their gardens even though they would like to maintain it well. Just find out such houses & make them an offer to water their plants once or twice a day. They will definitely be interested. But see that you find out the various aspects of it so that you know the correct amount of water required for different kinds of plants. If you do it properly and the owners are happy with your work, you can expect good rewards. You can also cut the grasses & uproot the unwanted plants & clean the garden for them, which is interesting too for those who love gardening.
6) Bringing groceries for old people There may be houses where old people stay alone and are not able to go to market to buy groceries or things that they need on a daily basis. They may need medicines or such supplies too. You can try to convince them your sincerity and help them buy things from market, they will definitely be happy and reward you with tips.
7) Supply of milk to houses in morning & evening: This job also can be done without investing much time & you can approach any milk supply agencies or even small scale milk supply units who will be in need of such young kids. This job will fetch you enough pocket money.
8) Dropping daily newspapers in houses & organizations: You can contact any newspaper agency and offer them services of dropping the newspaper in morning & evening to nearby houses, offices, small organizations, shops etc. This job also needs less time, energy & you can have enough pocket money.
9) Baby Sitting : How kid can make money love to play with small children & even small babies love to have young kids around them making them play & laugh, so if you love babies then you can check out such houses where mothers are alone and are helpless even sometimes to go to bathroom leaving their kids. You can ask them for allowing you to play with the baby & take care of her, changing cloths if baby shits or pees, then feeding with small biscuits when baby cries, play with her gently, baby sitting is not that easy, you have to really take care. You can do this part time, when mothers complete their work, you are free, and you can get good rewards for such job.
10) A small juice stand: If you stay in a place where travelers are more & some bus stop or railway station is nearby, comparatively hot, then why not try setting up a small juice stand. You can sell cheap lemon juices or even cold water, which people will definitely need when they are tired after a journey. You can ask your parents to get you a small Juice mixer & try with different fruits also.
These are only a few tips for you to start up with, just brush you brain and you may come out with even more good ideas & make better pocket money with no more showing hands for money in front of your parents. Maybe your parents are also relaxed & feel good that their kids are getting independent in such a small age & are helping them keeping up finance.
