Vintage cars

Vintage cars are cars that were manufactured between 1919 and 1930. That is cars which were built during the vintage era are vintage cars.

The end of World War I paved ways to a new revolution in manufacturing Industries. The vintage car is a hard found gem in the automobile crown. During this era men, machineries and factories started to produce quality products . The vintage cars were developed by the father of automobiles in the barns and backyards. They produced these vintage cars without knowing the concept of warrantee or repairs . That is why they were able to produce quality cars. Henry Ford can arguably be called the father of Industrial revolution in this era and he is the one who is responsible for manufacturing these vintage cars . The period of vintage cars is from the year 1919 to 1930 . The cars became practical and convenient during the vintage car period .

The vintage cars were built when style and splendor was the buzz word. These cars were built of highly polished chrome and brass highlighting all the details of the interior and exterior of the car. This difference made these cars unique from other cars.

Vintage cars were built when engines were at its basic. No electronics and the whole car were built mechanically . But these cars were built to last. The running parts of the car were easily maintainable . It had reliability to a great extent also.

Other key developments during the vintage car era are the front engine and the closed bodies of the cars . The development of internal combustion engine was at a very fast rate during this period . The multi valve engines and the V8, V12, V16 engines came into existence only during the vintage era of the car history .

These days, these vintage cars, are being used for wedding procession. Many people, who had these vintage cars during those hay days, loved their cars so much that they were ready to do anything in order to be called the owners of the vintage cars.

The vintage cars can cost anywhere around 25,000 dollars to 50,000 dollars. But vintage cars can be hired for one hundredth of its cost or even less than that .

Vintage cars are rare and extremely expensive and are usually bought by a serious of collectors . Even if a vintage car is purchased at an auction or car show, then a large amount of money has to be spent in order to restore the car .

Earlier to the production of the Vintage cars ford cars were built . This made a great revolution in the Ford industry and it produced over 4 million cars and became the best selling model from 1927 to 1931 .

CARDILLAC V 16

During the peak of the vintage era, Cadillac V-16 was manufactured . This Car with Bugattis Royal was the most ultra luxury cars of that era .
