...The years, and years, that I have put into studying both French and Japanese, as well as validation by native speakers on my proficiency has proven worth it. As detail-oriented as I can be about these two languages, however, I can be even more so about my native tongue, English. As a writer, grammar and its proper use are important to me, just as much as developing one's own voice on paper.
