...I have tutored many students in algebra and found it to be fun when the light bulb went on. Algebra really should be renamed Puzzle math because it really is just solving a puzzle. Algebra 2 is an extension of algebra 1, so I like to evaluate students' skills and dig down to the core problem of what they are struggling with.

...As a para I teach small literacy groups to students daily, and I have ample resources in other subject areas. I have a 4.0 cumulative GPA, and I have successful experience tutoring. This semester I tutored a student over the course of ten weeks for a total of twenty sessions.

...I taught dance in the public schools through funding from The National Endowment to The Arts. I have also worked privately with special needs children using dance therapy. My experience has always been that I learn as much from each person that I teach as they learn from me, that is to say teaching is reciprocal in each encounter.
