...I believe that language is a "window to the world" and I want to help open my students up to the world of Spanish speakers. I include cultural and personal contexts to make the Spanish language come alive. I have lived in and/or traveled to Spain, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Mexico.

Although I can and sometimes do teach stand alone grammar lessons, I prefer to incorporate grammar instruction into writing lessons and address each student's problems individually. I also use a lot of visual aids and hands-on activities in my classes.
