...I presently help to teach Sunday School classes in this country. I was a linguistics major at Cornell (BA 1976) and was trained by SIL in phonetics and field methods to be able to pronounce analyze and make a written system for an unwritten language. I then used this training in Ghana with SIL for 20 years with the Achoday (Gikyode) people.

I am a graduate of Hamilton College where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Comparative Literature and French. During my four years at Hamilton, I tutored French and English composition to students of various years. I also served as a language tutor at an elementary school in Clinton, where I instructed fifth graders in the French language.
