...As a tutor, I realize that it is not always easy to motivate middle school and high schoolers to do work. I have a lot of patience, and I have tried many things to help keep them focused. For example, I once had a 7th grade boy who wanted to talk the entire time.

I have nearly 15 years of teaching kids in classroom and non-traditional settings (hospital, in-home, after school groups, and more). I've taught swimming lessons and coached soccer for kids of all ages and abilities (beginner through high school).
