...My approach is to first let the student define his goals and time frame, and then to create a personalized tutoring course based on the goals and time frame.I was born in Moscow and have a Russian education through the university level. Russian is my first language. My daughters, however, learned English first, because we lived in England and the U.S.

...I love teaching and helping students grow in confidence and ability. I tend to use an active style with students (rote repetition puts everyone to sleep,) and am always looking for new ways to help that one student master that one thing. In public schools, I have taught pre-K through seventh grade.
