...No, I am not a native language speaker of Spanish. I did meet the requirements of the State of California to teach ESL/ESOL/ELL students by earning my CLAD by completing course work at California State University, Fresno. Courses in that program presented current research-based theory and engaged students in activities that helped me put this theory into practice.

My qualifications include working as an assistant teacher at a preschool for three years.
