Angela U. In order to be a good tutor, I believe that one must understand how a person learns. Very often, inexperienced tutors will assume that their students understand something simply because the tutors understand it. As a psychology major and a bilingual person, my education has been geared towards being able to empathize with other people when it comes to difficulty in learning.
