...Retirement from one phase of my career was the beginning of another. I continue teaching my English tutorial students and private clarinet students of all ages. For instance, my son is a visual learner, therefore I help him study by making things as visual as possible. Each week I create a Keynote presentation with his vocabulary words. I find an image of the book or story associated with his vocabulary words (he helps pick the image). I have one slide with just the vocabulary word.

...Most of my tasks consist of proofreading, comment cleaning, matching language translations and pattern testing. The one missing element is the opportunity for me to interact with other people, and I find this to be a major missing piece. I am definitely a people person, and my present employment allows me very little opportunity to work with others or on the behalf of others.
