...We covered everything from vocabulary to grammar - oh that 'dreaded' passive voice - to reading and translating. We read both prose and poetry - from Livy to Cicero to Catullus, Horace, and best of all Vergil. My goal is to make students comfortable with all the nuances of learning a foreign language, even an ancient one.
