These are critical to the success of a student in any subject matter and at any grade. I use numerous techniques to help children comprehend fiction and non-fiction material.

After having received my undergraduate degree from Florida State in creative writing, I went on to pursue and obtain my M.A. in poetry from Georgia State University. I am a published poet, and I have had my poems and essays appear in both print and online literary journals. I also have a chapbook of poems that has been published.
