...I am not, however, new to tutoring. I have ten years of experience tutoring English, writing, basic math and the SAT to students of all ages and abilities. I'm currently a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at Harvard University, where I teach undergraduate courses in the humanities.

At the University of Munich in Germany I took courses in psychology and neuroscience with special interest in states of consciousness, attention, and perception. More specifically, I focused on the neurobiology of vision and hearing, and investigated limits to human perception.

...My vocal teaching is specific to the needs of each student, not a cookie cutter approach. I accompany the student on what I call a sensory journey, which means that I ask the student to communicate the sensations in the body as the vocal production improves. Thus, giving the student a means to teach themselves as they are improving.

...I am excited to meet you.I have been studying French since 1999 and majored in French Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where I won the highest departmental award as a senior. Most recently, I spent the academic year of 2010-2011 teaching English in France-about an hour east of Paris. I also spent an academic semester in Lyon in 2008.
