The students are not unteachable, they just need to learn according to their own modality whether it be visual, auditory, tactile or kinesthetic.

Based on my experience I believe being immersed in the culture, not in a classroom is the best way to learn. Deaf history and culture are supremely important to learning and understanding what it is to be deaf and I can't wait to teach those things too!
