I enjoy watching students not just improve but excel in the language and I hope I can do that for you or your child! I use the strongly advised methods of repetition and conversation to help the brain retain the language instead of just memorizing soon-to-be-forgotten topics and vocabulary.

I have worked with high school students for 6 years, as an English teacher, helping them with college choices, and application essays.

...I attended Middlebury's Summer Language School for level 3 Chinese, and studied abroad in Beijing and Hangzhou, China for a period of more than 5 months in winter and spring 2012. I have also taken the ACTFL tests in Chinese, receiving scores of Advanced Mid and Intermediate High on the OPI and WPT respectively. I have been playing clarinet since I was in 4th grade.
