...My technique is based on a combination of the Socratic Method and a more traditional classroom-style approach. Students I work with first learn the fundamentals of what they need to improve in class and on test day, but they also gain a broader knowledge designed to help them pursue any goal they choose. Initially, I aim to help students improve their scores and/or grades.
