...I was a site tour guide/volunteer worker at an archaeological excavation in Israel. In addition, I have a passion for humanitarian work and was a volunteer worker/French-English interpreter with medical mission and school-building teams in Haiti. I've also been volunteering weekly at Feed My Starving Children’s (non-profit org) food-packing facility in Tempe, AZ since June 2012.

...I encourage my students to speak freely and not worry about making mistakes. Making mistakes and learning from them will actually help the student learn the language faster. I seek to understand what the student's goals are with the language and then work with them to achieve them.
