...I found that the key to success was being organized, devoting time to pre-reading before class, doing enough book practice problems, working problems out on a dry erase board, and color coding notes for certain reactions and descriptions. Cramming for Organic might result in a good grade for that test, but as the semester moves on, it simply wont work. Not to mention 2nd semester.

...I have substituted in all grades and participated through volunteers and within my school with different students at different abilities. I work daily on teaching phonics. I think it is important to be able to find differnt sounds in words and to be able to recognize different sounds that correspond to different letters and letter combinations.
