...I've had many long term positions with families and mentored the kids as they grew up; in fact, I even worked for one family for over 4 years. I was born in China and lived there until I was 8. As a native Mandarin speaker, I can easily tell the differences in pronunciation of difficult sounds that exist in Chinese, but do not exist in the English language.

In 1998, I started tutoring 3 young kids just to earn extra money as a high schooler, and by 2002, I was doing this as as a full time career with 20+ regular students.
