With more advanced students, I use a combination of writing, reading, and conversation. The lessons often begin with a textbook chapter or a worksheet, and end with direct application of that topic in conversation exercises.

Before enrolling Hunter College and Brooklyn College, I spent two years at the Art Students League in New York focusing mostly on drawing and painting.
