...I first began my studies in Houston, TX at HCC and Rice University. Then, I began to study Arabic in the summers in the Middle East with a language program there. Two and a half years ago I took a leave of absence from teaching for a year in order to study the Arabic language for a full year in Jordan.

...Thank you Qusai I took Arabic for 4 years in college. I have traveled and spent considerable amount of time in Iraq , Egypt, Jordan and Syria interacting and living with locals. I currently am hifzing (memorizing) the Holy Quran in Arabic.
