...I'm originally a lawyer. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Spanish language and literature and political science, and received my juris doctor from UC Berkeley as well. I also studied one year abroad at the Autonomous University in Madrid, Spain, taking graduate work in the political science department, in addition to taking classes in their Spanish department.
