...I made excellent grades in both and was chosen by the professors as the Outstanding Senior in the Foreign Language Department. In addition, I lived in France for a year and became fluent in the language and learned much about the customs of the culture. I am also proficient in Spanish with knowledge of culture gained from exposure to native Spanish speakers.
