I've watched and studied basketball since I was a little boy and possess the knowledge necessary to teach an aspiring player the rules, tactics, and techniques required to be a good basketball player.

...Writing has been my vocation since 1995, when the Chicago Tribune bought my first article about beer. What followed was four years of frustration, rewriting, reediting and a determined drive to bring an interesting chapter of an unknown part of Chicago's history into the form of a book. It also gave me unexpected local, and later, national fame.
